The Cryo-Lime Cooler

Bright lime, fresh mint, and a little fizz. A zero-alcohol recharge for two heroes.

Time: 5 minutes · Makes: 2 drinks

Your supply drop

  • 60 ml fresh lime juice
  • 30 ml simple syrup, plus more to taste
  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 400 ml chilled sparkling water
  • Plenty of ice
  • 2 lime slices

Activate chill mode

  1. Divide the mint and syrup between two sturdy glasses. Press gently with the back of a spoon.
  2. Add half the lime juice to each glass, then fill with ice.
  3. Top each with 200 ml sparkling water and stir gently.
  4. Adjust with a little more syrup or lime. Finish with a lime slice.

For simple syrup, dissolve equal parts sugar and hot water, then cool. Ready-made syrup works too.

Frog-friend variation

Add two thin cucumber slices to each glass. Very green. Very chill. Suitable for a cave-rescue afterparty.
