Frostbite Peppermint Bark

A sweet little power-up from the Snow Roach kitchen. A recipe for this Doxfeed Technologies fan page, made for sharing between rounds.

Prep: 10 minutes · Chill: 30–45 minutes · Makes: about 12 pieces

Your supply drop

  • 300 g white chocolate, chopped
  • 45 g crushed peppermint candies
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract, optional
  • A small pinch of flaky salt

Make some ice

  1. Line a small tray with parchment. Keep your bowl and utensils completely dry.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts, stirring between each, until just smooth. Stop before it gets hot.
  3. Stir in the optional extract. Spread onto the tray about 5 mm thick.
  4. Scatter over the peppermint and salt. Press gently into the chocolate.
  5. Refrigerate until firm, about 30–45 minutes. Break into heroic shards.

Keep covered in the refrigerator. Let sit for a few minutes before serving. Check ingredient labels for milk, soy, and other allergens.

The vault variation

Swap half the crushed candy for pretzel pieces. A salty crunch and a little good chaos.
